We're punished for holding, and punished for running. Not to mention that the latest update has added like a 99% chance for all zeds to run, and since they run faster than most perks every death feels cheap.

With three people we don't have enough firepower to hold anywhere (which the game discourages through maps getting much darker in certain areas after holding due to sirens and other things breaking lights) but we can't run around because a teleporting pack of gorefiends at a choke will kill us instantly since they block their heads for like 3 seconds. IMO you also could rebalance the gameplay similar to scrn balance to make it closer to KF1 as well, but KF2 just provides a better base for the killing floor franchise. KF1 generally was better in that arena as well as atmosphere, but KF2 can get there with easy mods.
